The Multiple Impact Protection System utilised in the A1 MIPS is an industry-leading and rigorously tested protection system that is the result of a dedicated mission to reduce strain on the brain in angled impacts. The technology employed in MIPS enables rotation of the head relative to the helmet structure upon impact demonstrably reducing the detrimental effects of impact to the head. The A1 MIPS is constructed from a reinforced polycarbonate shell integrated with an expanding polystyrene liner which is the result of a singular drive for safety on impact.
