BIKETRAX CYCLE HIRE PRICES FOR 2012

Photographic I.D. is required. Your passport or driving licence is essential.

Notes.

1. Included with bike hire, is a tool/puncture kit, pump, helmet and a lock
2. Each bike is fitted with a bottle cage, but bottles are not supplied. They can be purchased separately.
3. All bikes are fitted with platform pedals for use with normal shoes. If you wish to use clipless pedals and shoes (eg, SPD pedals) you are more than welcome to bring your own pedals and we will fit these to the bike for you.

We offer quality Cycle Hire and rental from our Shop in Central Edinburgh.

We have been hiring bikes to customers from all over the world since 1988 and are well known for our service, knowledgeable advice and good old fashioned friendliness.

Edinburgh is the ideal starting place to explore the delights and sights of Scotland, from Dumfries and the Borders right up to the Highlands and Islands such as Skye and the Hebrides. The Falkirk Wheel is within easy cycling distance too. Closer to home the Union Canal cycle path starts just around the corner from the shop, which will take you all the way to Glasgow if your feeling fit enough. Why not check out Edinburgh Castle whilst out on the bikes It Is an ideal place to get a fantastic view over Edinburgh.

You can take a day trip round the historical attractions of Edinburgh, with its many cycle paths, or a day trip in the surrounding countryside, we can point you in the right direction. Each bike is supplied with a puncture repair kit, allen keys and tyre levers in a small saddle bag, included in the hire price.

CITY (HYBRID), TREK Road Bikes and Brompton FOLDING BIKES

We hire quality Ridgeback Meteor Hybrid (city) bikes which feature:-

• Lightweight & strong frames in a variety of sizes.

• Strong and light alloy wheel rims

• All Shimano reliable componentry

• Comfortable padded saddles (ladies or gents)

We also hire the BROMPTON Folding bike. The Road bikes we hire are the Trek 1.1 model with an Aluminium frame and a mix of Shimano/Bontrager parts. This bike is perfect for fast cycling on the roads of Scotland.
